Very good Franconian food with a class of quality and portion size. Service friendly, quick and approachable.

Cozy brewery restaurant with very friendly service. The large dining room is traditionally furnished, wood-paneled and equipped with enough benches. Food and drinks are very good. The beer is no longer brewed on site. Unfortunately, the price level has to be described as high. An English menu is available. No parking available, parking garage Henkestrasse is an option.

A traditional German restaurant with good local beer selection. The Wiener Schnitzel is excellent, if not a little on the expensive side.

We were there for the first time in mid-September. Despite the sometimes difficult guests in this complicated mask time, the waitress Jenny was friendly, quick-witted and resolved the situation well. In addition, the carp were a pleasure both visually and in terms of taste. Beer great anyway. We'd love to come back.

We sat in the garden and we liked that very much. We arrived a bit at different times and the kitchen was struggling to get food on the table at the same time. The food was ok.

Very tasty food, good beer and very friendly & attentive staff. Especially the Schäufele is highly recommended, perfect crust, very tender and well seasoned, great dark beer sauce and 2 dumplings. There is not much to say about the beer, one of the best dark beers I have ever drunk. Will definitely come back!

Food is good and beer is delicious too. The service was extremely unfriendly last time! (Unfortunately the young boss personally), all employees were very friendly. Unfortunately I haven't seen it like this before. Anything can happen, but then you can just apologize and not be arrogant. Too bad.

Typical tourist bar. Lots of choice of food - okay in taste and good beer. Three star deduction for the very unfriendly service of a single lady. Stress in this industry understandable but we have seldom experienced anything like that. Erlangen offers many other beer gardens that are really worthwhile.

We were there yesterday. The food was delicious and the service very nice and courteous. The food is not cheap but definitely worth the price. We will be back definitely!

We went there to eat with 2 families last night. The home-brewed beer and the food were very tasty. Unfortunately, the service was a bit rude and a bit stressful when we didn't know what drinks to order as we only had one menu for 8 people. Otherwise very tasty

Very delicious food, super friendly and attentive staff and really good beer. What more do you want? The choice of dishes is just right and based on the region. Even the starter salad was recommendable.

Delicious. We ate Franconian, shovel and shish kebab sausage and a chanterelle dish. Get great and enough space with the whole family. Very nice service. Inside it is typically regional, which fits perfectly with the food. The beer tastes very tasty and I can highly recommend it as a beer fan. It is reasonably priced. So everything is perfect.

They have their own beer which is really good and the food is tasty. Also the waitresses are fun and friendly. You migh want to reserve a table in advance though because this place is quite popular.

If you want to try the real national cuisine of Germany, then you are here. It is very tasty and satisfying. The portions are huge, which is very difficult for one person to eat. Beer is just super tasty and fresh. This is one of the best restaurants in Germany.

Very nice Franconian food and a nice selection of different tasty beers. Beer garden is perfect to enjoy hot summer evening. Service was slow. It took 30 min to get drinks.
